Who can resist the charm of freshly made American pancakes? That fluffy texture, the warm aroma of vanilla and butter, and the endless topping possibilities make them a surefire hit. And if you’ve got a Thermomix and a few spare minutes, you're just steps away from turning any morning (or afternoon) into a celebration of flavor worthy of a Sunday brunch movie scene.
This recipe isn’t just foolproof—it lets you whip up the perfect pancakes with almost zero effort and minimal cleanup. And trust me: once you try them, you’ll want to make them every weekend. Breakfast goals, guaranteed.
The best part? No exotic products or complicated techniques here. Everything is easy to find, affordable, and delicious.
200 g cake flour
1 sachet of baking powder (like Royal or similar)
50 g sunflower oil
30 g sugar
300 g whole milk
2 eggs
Butter (for greasing the pan)
Topping ideas: whipped cream, melted chocolate, caramel sauce, jam, fresh fruit… or all of the above. We don’t judge here.
Even the most reluctant home bakers can master this recipe. Thanks to the Thermomix, there are no lumps, no fuss, and no stress.
Add all ingredients to the Thermomix bowl: flour, baking powder, oil, sugar, milk, and eggs. Blend for 30 seconds at speed 5.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula to make sure everything mixes evenly.
Blend again for another 30 seconds at speed 5.
Pour the batter into a container and let it rest in the fridge for 10 minutes. This step helps the pancakes become extra fluffy and smooth.
Heat a non-stick pan and brush it with a bit of butter.
Pour in a small ladle of batter. When bubbles start to form on the surface, flip the pancake with a spatula and cook the other side until golden.
Repeat with the rest of the batter and try not to eat them all straight from the pan.
The base recipe is already delicious, but the real magic happens with the toppings. Here are a few winning combos:
Classic: maple syrup, butter, a pinch of cinnamon
Indulgent: chocolate spread, fresh strawberries, chopped hazelnuts
“Healthy”: natural yogurt, berries, a drizzle of honey
Decadent: dulce de leche, caramelized banana, whipped cream
Want to go full dessert mode? Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some hot chocolate sauce. Too much? Never.
