400 g crushed tomatoes
500 ml vegetable broth or water
30 ml olive oil
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the Vegetables Place the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery in the Thermomix bowl. Chop for 5 seconds at speed 5. Then scrape down the sides with a spatula and add the olive oil. Sauté for 5 minutes at 120°C, speed 1.
