Ingredients:
1 packet of sugar-free gelatin (strawberry flavor, for example, Royal brand)
1 Greek yogurt (sweetened or unsweetened – sweetened is recommended for a more gummy candy-like result)
100 ml of water (about half a glass)
Heat the water:
Pour the 100 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl.
Set to 2 minutes / 70°C / speed 1.
Dissolve the gelatin:
Add the packet of gelatin powder.
Mix for 30 seconds / speed 3 to dissolve completely.
If any lumps remain, mix for an additional 15 seconds / speed 4.
Add the yogurt:
Add the Greek yogurt.
Mix for 30 seconds / speed 4, until smooth and fully combined.
Pour into molds:
Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or a container lined with plastic wrap.
Smooth the surface if needed.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until set.
Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
They will stay fresh for 2 to 4 days – but they’ll likely be eaten before that!
You can use any gelatin flavor you like.
For fun shapes, use small silicone molds like those for chocolates – we made little bears, for example.
Halloween tip: pour the mixture into plastic straws – once set, cut them into “creepy worms.”
If you skip the sugar and use natural yogurt, this can also be a good option for babies who can already eat dairy.
Important tip: make sure the gelatin is completely dissolved to avoid lumps and get a smooth texture.
