A cold, creamy coffee with vanilla, prepared in just 2 minutes.
On days when the heat melts away the joy of life, no one wants a hot coffee – but a really good iced coffee. And if it contains vanilla and you make it yourself with the Thermomix, even better. This recipe is so simple it’s almost funny – and so delicious that you'll definitely want to make another one right away.
With just five ingredients that you almost always have at home, you can prepare a refreshing drink that pleases both hardcore coffee fans and casual enjoyers. The secret: freshly brewed coffee, brown sugar, vanilla syrup, ice, and milk – perfectly blended for a creamy texture and great taste.
🍯 60 g brown sugar
☕ 150 g freshly brewed coffee (classic from the coffee machine)
🥛 150 g whole milk
🍦 40 g vanilla syrup
❄️ 300 g ice cubes
Place the brown sugar in the dry mixing bowl and grind it 10 seconds / Speed 10. This creates a fine base without lumps.
Add the hot coffee, milk, vanilla syrup, and ice cubes. Blend 30 seconds / Speed 10.
The Thermomix transforms everything into a creamy, cold, and frothy drink.
Immediately fill into tall glasses. For a pretty result (also for the eye and social media): decorate with some whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or an extra splash of syrup.
Do you like it stronger? Pour an espresso over it – affogato-style. Simply delightful.
– Vegan version: Replace milk with oat or almond milk.
– More intensity: Use double espresso and less milk.
– As a dessert cocktail: Refine with a splash of coffee liqueur or amaretto.
– For extra creaminess: Blend in a frozen milk cube.
